Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)
- The Operator posts these Terms on the Service screen (airreading.kr/terms).
- The Operator may amend these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate applicable laws.
- When amending these Terms, the Operator will announce the effective date and the reasons on the Service screen from 7 days before the effective date. If the amendment is unfavorable to Members, the Operator will announce it from 30 days before the effective date and will also notify Members separately through the affiliated Academy or the registered contact details.
- If a Member continues to use the Service without expressing refusal by the effective date, the Member is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms. A Member who does not agree may terminate the service agreement.
Article 4 (Matters Not Provided for in These Terms)
Matters not provided for in these Terms are governed by applicable laws and commercial practice. Matters such as fees and contract periods between an Academy or Partner and the Operator are governed by the relevant service agreement.
Chapter 2 Service Agreement and Accounts
Article 5 (Issuance of Accounts)
- A learning account is issued by the affiliated Academy or, when a Guardian submits an application for use, activated after the affiliated Academy confirms the application.
- Staff accounts are issued by the Operator or by an administrator to whom the Operator has granted authority. There is no way to sign up by oneself.
- An academy may apply to join on the academy recruitment page (airreading.kr/academy/). Once the Operator reviews and approves the application, the Academy and the academy director's account are created.
Article 6 (Application for Use and Formation of the Agreement)
- A Guardian applies for use after confirming the affiliated Academy through a link or QR code received from the Academy, or on the application page.
- An application requires the student's name, grade and school name and the Guardian's mobile phone number, and requires consent to the collection and use of personal information. For a student under the age of 14, consent regarding the student's personal information is given by the Guardian as the legal representative.
- When an application is received, a staff member of the affiliated Academy contacts the Guardian. When the Academy activates the account, a service agreement is formed between the Operator and the Member, and the Academy sets the ID and password and provides them.
- When an Academy registers a learning account directly, it must register only students whose Guardians have given consent.
- The Operator and the Academy may reject an application made in another person's name or containing false information, and may terminate the agreement if this is discovered later.
Article 7 (Account Management)
- Members manage their own IDs and passwords and must not disclose them to or lend them to others.
- The temporary password received at first can be changed under Change password.
- Members may link a Google account to an account that has already been issued and sign in with Google. New accounts cannot be created through Google sign-in.
- A Member who becomes aware that another person is using the Member's account must immediately notify the Operator or the affiliated Academy. The Operator is not liable for any damage arising from a failure to notify.
- If several people use the same device, Members must log out when they finish using the Service.
Article 8 (Termination of the Agreement and Suspension of Use)
- Members may at any time terminate the service agreement and request deletion of their personal information by making a request to the Operator or the affiliated Academy. A request on behalf of a Learner may be made by the Guardian. Requests are handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- The affiliated Academy may suspend the use of a learning account. A suspended account cannot be used to log in.
- Staff accounts may be suspended or deleted by the party that issued them.
- When an Academy's service agreement ends, the handling of that Academy's accounts is governed by the service agreement between the Academy and the Operator.

Article 12 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)
- The Operator may change the content of the Service for textbook revisions or feature improvements. Important changes will be announced in advance.

- If the Operator intends to end the Service, it will give notice 30 days in advance and will also explain how Learning Records will be handled.
